My therapy is strongly person centered; I embrace the idea that a solid therapeutic relationship is the backbone to change. I believe this relationship is built through empathy, humor, and respect for the idea that you are the expert in your own life, not me. My therapeutic style is eclectic; I tailor treatments to your needs to find an approach that feels right to you. What this means is that therapy will look different for different clients; sometimes you might need a supportive listener, sometimes you might need concrete exercises to build new skills. As a therapist, I believe it is my job to pivot according to your needs.
