I started Olson Counseling Services because I saw a gap in traditional therapy—especially for women who have spent their lives feeling unseen, unheard, and emotionally exhausted. After years of working in various clinical settings, I realized that standard weekly therapy wasn’t always enough for the deep, transformative work my clients needed. Many women, particularly mothers, came to me struggling with shame, perfectionism, and the weight of expectations placed on them since childhood. They were overwhelmed, questioning their worth, and feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt and burnout.
