About
For many late-identified neurodivergent people, it can be challenging to navigate what it actually means to be Autistic, ADHD, or PDA (Persistent Drive for Autonomy). Unmasking our real experience, all while communicating our needs to our loved ones, can seem impossible at times. It can actually be terrifying. There is a reason we masked in the first place. It can become exhausting trying our best to be what we think the world wants us to be. Maybe people in your life have treated you as if you're being unreasonable, manipulative, controlling, shut down, a closed book, too much, or not enough.
