I have the most fulling outcomes in working with clients who are in their twenties or thirties. That being said, I am open and enthusiastic about working with clients of all ages, 18 and up. I work from a person-centered lens- each client is the expert on their own experience. Healing is a partnership, where the client brings wisdom of their own goals and dreams, and I facilitate the healing process by staying curious, asking the right questions, and providing useful tools. I prioritize the relationship between therapist and client above all else- it is within the confines of a safe, trusting relationship that healing occurs. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma (specifically, sexual abuse or assault). I spent nine years working with survivors of sexual violence. My theoretical orientation is best described as eclectic, as I work to meet the client where they are and let this inform the direction counseling takes.
