I am a counselor who works primarily with adults and young adults. I have worked in both the mental health and medical fields for over 10 years, practicing as a registered psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Denver for the past 4 years. I obtained my Licenses in Addiction Counseling and Professional Counseling in 2020. I have experience working in a variety of settings, including private practice, community clinics, and the Department of Corrections. I earned my undergraduate degree in nursing from Texas Christian University and my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. I draw from a variety of counseling approaches, but I primarily view each client through the lens of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)Through this work, you can learn to recognize patterns in your thinking and shift your perspective, which in turn helps achieve balance.
