My name is Amy Duplan and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. As a trauma informed therapist, my focus is helping individuals who have experienced past trauma to learn to build a meaningful life with meaningful relationships. I approach therapy through a trauma informed lens and utilize a combination of Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approaches to help individuals process past (attachment) traumas, identify defense mechanisms, and learn ways to develop a healthy relationship with themselves and others.
