I started my professional career in a hospital where I quickly recognized that a diagnosis of cancer or other life threatening illness has the potential to significantly disrupt a person's physical, emotional, social and financial well being. I became very passionate about learning how to help individuals cope with adjustment to illness and manage their feelings of fear, anxiety and depression. In working with you my hope is to provide you with tools and strategies to cope with the challenges of your illness. This in turn can lead to positive change, an enhanced quality of life as well as an outlook filled with hope.
