Welcome to my page! I am a licensed professional counselor located in beautiful North Idaho. I have a wealth of experience with many populations and circumstances, stemming from a previous career in law enforcement. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress injury resulting from complex and single-event traumas, including sexual violence and religious environments. My approach to treatment involves whole-person wellness rather than focusing on a single cause. Our bodies hold memories of our experiences so exploring the mind body connection is critical to the growth process. Operating from an Adlerian theoretical perspective, I take a partnership-style role with my clients as we work to address current views of earlier experiences and identify areas of discouragement. Treatment modalities include EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, Internal Family Systems, and play therapy.
