Hello! My name is Amy Lovelace and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am currently based in the Greater New York City area and have over 15 years working in the mental health space. My goal for our sessions is to focus completely on your needs by cultivating a warm and inviting atmosphere to nurture the strengths that you already possess. I use an integrative therapeutic approach based on building self-esteem and courage to help clients gain insight into negative thoughts and challenging emotional/behavioral patterns that often get us sidetracked. Clients can expect our first session to include information-gathering as well as some light exploration of current issues so that we can build a plan to work through in our follow-up sessions. I am best positioned to serve clients who are looking to make changes in their lives that seem daunting.
