About

Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over thirty years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields. She is also a Registered Play Therapist, an Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinical, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Amy graduated with Honors from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then completed her master’s degree in psychology and an Ed.S. in Community Counseling from the University of West GA. Amy has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient counseling, in-patient hospital treatment, residential settings, private practice, and in the school system.
