My name is Amy Simonds Taylor and I am a licensed professional counselor. I specialize in working with blended families, and families experiencing separation (jobs, deployment, hospitalization, etc.) I also work with individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and co-occurring disorders (substance abuse + another issue, like trauma). I help by getting you back in charge of your life and (in family work) your family. At our first session, I will conduct a thorough assessment. After that, you'll set some goals for therapy, and then we're off and running. You'll try new things and we'll refine as we go.
