I consider it an honor to meet people where they are in their story. Pain is an invitation to turn towards – to turn towards self and turn toward others. When we respond to the invitation to face and tend to the parts of ourselves that evoke the most shame, we begin the process of repairing the breach of relationship we have with ourselves. When we begin to regain connection with those severed parts of self we increase our capacity to receive connection and love.
