I have spent the last eighteen years working with individuals, children, and families. I have spent the majority of my professional career working in K-12 education as a Professional School Counselor, 504 Coordinator/Learning Specialist, and Clinical Therapist. My definition of health is vastly different today than it was when I originally started practicing. Today I approach mental health and wellness with a much more holistic lens. I've always had an interest in nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, and movement and their connection to mental health, but it wasn't until I started embracing contemplative medicine and mindfulness in my own life and with my children that I really understood their impact.
