Hi, I’m Amy Van Lenten, a LCSW at My Psychiatrist and I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. I understand that life can bring a lot of challenges, and reaching out for support is a courageous first step. My approach to therapy is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I’m here to offer you a safe space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind, whether it’s managing depression, overcoming anxiety, processing trauma, or navigating difficult life transitions. Together, we’ll work on finding the tools and strategies that work best for you. I use a combination of therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness practices to help you make meaningful changes in your life. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of your mental health.
