About
Starting therapy can feel like a lot, especially if you’re not sure whether you’ll actually feel understood, or if you’ve had experiences where people offered advice that missed the point entirely. If you’re feeling anxious or unsure about opening up, that makes sense. Many people come to therapy carrying hesitation after being misunderstood or judged. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or telling you what to do. It’s about slowing things down enough to understand how your early experiences shaped the way you think, feel, and cope today, including what’s helping you get by, and what might be quietly holding you back.
