I work alongside my clients to create collaborative, warm, comfortable bonds as they navigate life challenges. My understanding of client's context and concerns is informed by my perspective and experiences as a former arts writer and academic, as well as my training in counseling. This multi-disciplinary approach to hearing client's stories enables me to engage the complexity of my clients' lives while focusing on them as full people. Working with people whose struggles with substances, stresses, and relationships compel them to seek external insight and support is an honor and joy.
