You became the strong one, the peacemaker, the caretaker... the person who held it all together when things felt emotionally intense or unpredictable. From the outside, your life may look “fine,” but inside it can still feel hard to slow down, rest, or feel truly safe. I work with adults who were raised in chaotic or emotionally unpredictable environments and are ready for something different; lasting calm, deeper connection, and a sense of ease in their own bodies. I understand how growing up this way shapes your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self, even long after the chaos has passed. I lead with a unique approach including EMDR, somatic awareness, and compassion-based therapy to gently address the impacts of early emotional stress and trauma. Together, you and I will work to unlearn old patterns of over-functioning, reduce anxiety and emotional overwhelm, and help your body reconnect with what safety, stability, and choice feel like.
