I'm Anamaria, a Colombian Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Mental Health Matters. I offer short and long-term individual therapy for adults (ages 18-60). My approach includes psychoeducational handouts, verbal processing and engaging in expressive arts and mindfulness. I work from a relational lens, where therapist and client build a trusting space and commit to actively explore narratives and patterns together. My goal is to support clients in processing, challenging, and integrating their experiences, so they can confidently exercise their mental health to build capacity to cope and engage in life.
