Hello! My name is Anavel De Los Santos, I am an LMHC-Intern under the supervision of Dr. Adiasha Richards-Thornhill. My purpose in counseling is to guide client's to finding an outlet in telling the emotional journey that has led them to their journey of emotional healing. I hold emphasis in allowing my clients to share their stories due to my experience of being silenced and invalidated. Therefore, my clinical work focuses on redefining the meaning of mental health, especially for individuals who come from communities and cultures that struggle to recognize that emotional well-being is essential to living a full and healthy life.
