Every person is different therefore every interaction is different. As humans we have patterns and the patterns you exhibit assist me to help you efficiently and appropriately for each situation we may encounter during our therapeutic relationship. Counseling is not just processing. Counseling also includes making changes, gaining self-awareness, having a willingness to gradually open up and so much more. As a counselor, I do not have “magic words” for a “fix all solution”; I will however be there as a guide for you. I can teach you techniques through evidence-based practices to help you manage what life may throw your way. I utilize CBT, Reality Theory, and Client-Centered Theory along with multicultural awareness in my therapeutic relationships.
