Andrea views the counseling process as a safe place in which the client and counselor work together to achieve the client’s goals. She works to help clients improve their quality of life and set attainable goals. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring techniques to each individual. Andrea seeks to instill hope that comes from Christ in her counseling practice. As a Christian counselor she integrates best practices in mental health counseling with Christianity. She is respectful of each individual’s views and belief systems. Andrea has experience in providing counseling services to children, adolescents, college students and adults. She has worked in various settings including a college counseling clinic, mental health rehabilitation, and private practice. Prior to her counseling role, she interned in youth ministry and tutored students with learning disabilities.
