Children and teens experience big emotions, growing pressures, and constant change as they move through different stages of development. Sometimes they need extra support to help them understand their feelings, build coping skills, and feel more confident in themselves. My name is Andrea, and I work with children and adolescents ages 5–17, providing therapy that is both engaging and effective. I believe therapy for kids and teens should feel safe, welcoming, and even fun at times, while still being grounded in evidence-based practices. Humor, games, and activities help children feel comfortable and engaged, while structured interventions support real emotional and behavioral growth. I believe parent involvement is essential to lasting change. When appropriate, I work closely with parents also.
