Hi! I’m Andrew Hey, a licensed therapist based in California (also licensed in Minnesota for telehealth) . I work hard to make therapy comfortable and approachable. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who appear to be doing “fine” on the outside but feel stressed, burned out, or disconnected underneath. They may be questioning their career path or identity, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, questioning faith or religious trauma, or feeling pressure to meet others’ expectations while losing touch with themselves. They want clarity, confidence, and a more grounded sense of direction. I work with adults and older adolescents navigating anxiety, identity concerns, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, real, and practical. I’m not the cold, clinical type. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients understand patterns that keep them stuck and develop tools they can use in everyday life.
