My goal is for us to be able to identify current problems, work toward attainable solutions, and create a judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing thoughts or opinions, even if they seem controversial. My approach is to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify problems and work toward solutions. These solutions may not always be immediate, but together we can make steady progress day by day. I also like to examine situations using systems theory, where we identify which systems in your life are supportive and which ones might be contributing factors to the current issue.
