Striving to create safe, reliable and empathetic spaces, I specialize in counseling for children and adolescents. With more than a decade of experience as a school counselor, I work with children that come from a wide variety backgrounds and am able to create a helpful approach both at home and in school-helping families partner with schools and utilize the right school resources. I approach counseling for kids and teens along with play therapy from a a child-centered, trauma-informed and solution-focused perspective, using open-ended activities and creativity with each child to help them understand and discover unique solutions to their problems.
