My perceptiveness, compassion, and holding of a nonjudgmental space allow discovery and observation of patterns that may no longer be helpful. I see my work through a social justice perspective and understand oppression itself as a form of stress and trauma. As a mixed-race and multicultural person of African-American and Jewish ancestry, I honor experiences of intersecting identities and am deeply interested in intergenerational trauma and resilience.
