Hi and welcome! Many people come to counseling because they feel overwhelmed, stuck or stretched thin by life's demands. It can be hard to prioritize yourself when stress, grief, or ongoing struggles weigh heavily but self-care is not selfish - it's essential! I enjoy working with people who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and grief. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can feel understood, regain balance, and move towards healing and meaningful change. For the past 10 years I've focused on cancer care and hospice within a large health system counseling and and guiding clients with compassion through life's most challenging moments. In my 25+ years as a social worker combined with navigating many of life's challenges myself, I've gained perspective and wisdom you simply can't learn from a textbook.
