You will be able to increase your awareness, adopt effective coping strategies,and learn how to regulate your emotions. Growing up as a first-generation Indian in Australia allowed me to understand the concept of intersectionality and its impact on our well-being. I became a therapist because I wanted to destigmatize mental health in South Asian communities and use my career to speak up about “taboo” subjects like grief, sex, relationships, and many more.
