Psychotherapy is a process of discovery and working trough the feelings associated with pain and suffering. It is a process of understanding that you are not a victim of your history but rather it is an endeavor in which you repossess your history, transform it, and make it your own. Therapist supports you in this process by listening closely and directing your attention to what you say but perhaps not hear. Sense of trust and support is imperative, you need to feel safe. I work with adults and young adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, struggling with managing meaningful relationships, careers directions, achievement pressures. I help those who struggle with adjustment to living in new reality and new language, who deal with challenges of adapting to new culture different from the family of origin.
