About
People often come to psychotherapy feeling stuck, angry, wound up, or adrift. Beneath the surface are important unmet needs. By recognizing these, we can start shifting patterns that get in our way and communicate more clearly with others. I work with children, adolescents and adults. My approach is curious, warm, and actively engaged. I draw on my extensive training in psychodynamic and attachment-based interventions, initiating change by understanding the past experiences that shape our reactions in present-day relationships. I use mentalization-based and emotion-focused techniques in my work, particularly with couples.
