I am motivated to help people gain insight, find resolution, and discover ways to move forward in life. With joy :) Engaging in therapy with me means having a closer look at difficult experiences, engage in curiosity, contemplate, and discover new ways to relate to the world and find ease and stability. In our sessions we will emphasize building self knowledge at a pace that is comfortable- most of the time because growth isn't always easy-, and discover and improve ways of coping. For some this process is concentrated in a small area of change, and for some achieving well being means looking at and adjusting multiple areas. Sessions are mostly conversations, and include in session demonstrations of change strategies. Sometimes we will include creative outlets such as painting, drawing, and other crafts. I can help with trauma reprocessing, managing emotional unsteadiness, developing acceptance and compassion for self and others, and rediscovering a direction in life.
