I began as a teacher and since 2018 have worked as a therapist. My clientele have come from diverse backgrounds. I've worked with my clients at resolving symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. Often these symptoms have resulted from trauma. I believe that there are unique and important aspects to every person and that this requires a tailored approach for treatment. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. My areas of clinical interest include parenting, trauma resolution, and the development of positive coping skills. I am trained in EMDR and have used this technique and others with adults and adolescents to facilitate the reprocessing of painful memories and healing. I have experience with those who have survived and are healing from domestic violence and abuse, grief, and loss. I support clients in making changes and adjustment when life brings difficult challenges.
