I am a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience in the field. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, believing that everyone is capable of change, self-reflection, and growth. As a woman of color, I center my work on empowering people of color and women to feel comfortable in their own skin and to take up space unapologetically. The therapeutic relationship is a partnership. As such, our first session together is a getting-to-know-you session. I strongly believe that clients have the right to a therapist who affirms and challenges them while meeting their needs. I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, believing that everyone is capable of change, self-reflection, and growth. I strive to be affirming while also challenging mindsets, as this is where change happens.
