Originally from Tennessee, I came to Chicago and to therapy through a deep interest in justice, systems of care, and the health of individuals and relational systems. My background in social philosophy shaped my belief that healing happens on multiple levels—within ourselves and within our connections to others. In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I help clients explore how their internal experiences interact with the broader cultural, familial, and systemic contexts that shape them. Therapy, to me, is about understanding the meaning we create both internally and in relationship with the world around us.
