I am a mental health therapist and relationship specialist with over twenty years of experience in counseling, mentoring, and Christian counseling. As a therapist, I believe in living life purposefully but also understand that mental and emotional distress can be a barrier to healthy living. I work with individuals, couples, and families who need emotional support and practical tools to navigate challenges that create emotional distress and dysfunction in their personal, relational, and professional relationships. As a Caribbean immigrant and military spouse, I bring my experiences and cultural competencies into the therapy room to connect with my clients and build rapport and trust. I use a client-centered, systemic, and collaborative approach, of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and the Bowen Intergenerational model to achieve client goals.
