My ideal clients are adolescents or young adults who need a safe place to explore issues relating to school, family, relationships, anxiety and depression, including gender identity. They may be dealing with high school or college stressors that are impacting their ability to function successfully. They want to be better equipped to manage the challenges that are disrupting their ability to have a satisfying personal/family life. Having been the high school counselor at Holton-Arms School for many years, I am well versed on the many academic and psychosocial stressors surrounding high school and college students. I have expertise in treating young people facing the challenges of depression, anxiety, parental divorce, as well as LGBTQ+, self-acceptance, and self-esteem.
