I became a therapist because I believe people are pretty incredible. My heart is in supporting and empowering women in navigating their relationship with themselves, their body and food and the messy, meaningful work of living authentically. I specialize in eating disorders/body image, OCD, perinatal anxiety and depression, traumatic birth, miscarriage/infant loss, overcoming perfectionism and anxiety, and sexual trauma. I practice from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+-affirming, intuitive eating and Health At Every Size-informed foundation and am a certified Perinatal Mental Health clinician (PMH-C). Therapy should be a place to dig deep and work hard, but I believe the best kind of therapy is when you can also have a little bit of fun. I'm the founder of Rooted Counseling and have extensive training in experience in EMDR, ERP, FBT, ACT, DBT, and CBT treatment modalities.
