Reaching out for support during challenging times can be daunting and my approach is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you to create lasting and meaningful change in your life. As a relational and client-centered therapist, I believe that our relationships with those in our lives directly impact our worldview and experiences. I find that the client-therapist relationship is fundamental to a positive and successful therapy experience. I utilize a strengths-based approach as a foundation from which clients can grow and I also appreciate bringing humor into the therapy space. I spent five years of my career in an outpatient medical setting in Chicago, offering supportive counseling to patients and caregivers and then worked as a clinical director/psychotherapist at a small therapy practice for 3 years. I enjoy working with adults and older adults and find that the challenges of the human experience are shared across generations.
