Youth and adults who come to me often struggle with social-emotional and behavioral issues affecting academic progress, job functioning, peer/family relationships and self-image. These issues are often rooted in family conflict, identity confusion and trauma and can lead to more serious issues of anxiety and depression. As an interventionist, I will first help you resolve interpersonal conflicts and move outward to address family relational, social, academic, cultural and spiritual functioning. I am trained in various assessment, intervention, and prevention techniques to address common social-emotional, behavioral and academic deficits. In addition to working with youth, I equip parents to address issues from a family systems model.
