Two phrases that impacted my understanding of the therapy process throughout my training as a therapist were: "You are the expert on the process and your client is the expert on their story, pain, thoughts, and feelings" & "The client is the key to their own success." With these two phrases I continuously reminded myself that I'm responsible for guiding my clients in the direction(s) that are beneficiary and to collaborate with them throughout the therapeutic process. My training was specifically geared toward individual counseling and addressing various challenges that can occur throughout life. Let me be your guide! I also provide mental health services for individuals (working with an array of difficulties). I don't treat each client the same way and utilize an array of techniques to suit each individual, to the best of my abilities.
