April is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in supporting relationships. April works with couples who are feeling disconnected/unheard and longing for a change. Whether stuck in reactivity or quiet disconnection, April will walk along side each partner to understand where and why you keep getting stuck (i.e. having the same, repetitive argument). She teaches clients how to exit those patterns and gain the skills to hear each other in those difficult moments. Through this work, couples are able to rebuild intimacy/trust, and get back to the foundation of love and security between them. April also works with individuals. She works with those who are in major life transitions (this can include parenthood, motherhood, changing careers, etc.); individuals dealing with perfectionism/burnout; those who are having difficulties in intimate relationships (romantic or familial); or those who are struggling with managing mood (anxiety or depression).
