Hi my name is Ariel Swannick, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I got into social work after going through my own childhood traumas, grief, depression and anxieties. I understand the anger and frustration, the fear of facing your past, the uncertainty of moving forward. I have worked in the mental health system since 2011, and really believe in client centered therapy. I am here for you and to make the process as easy as possible. My primary therapy modality is EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy , is an Evidence Based Therapy that uses Bi-lateral Stimulation (BLS) to recode incomplete processing of highly charged memories that leads to trauma. I also provide CBT for Clients who would prefer talk therapy.
