Making the decision to reach out for help is one that takes courage, so I commend you for starting the process toward healing. We often times are quick to show others empathy, love and grace but when it comes to showing those things to ourselves, we struggle. This can result in us ignoring our own needs, blaming ourselves, and feeling overwhelmed. This is especially true when we experience trauma.
