By seeking therapy, you have already begun your process of growth and healing. The next step is partnering with me as your therapist as someone who brings compassion, and empathy into therapy. I think it is important to meet my clients where they are, and walk with them through the process of becoming their "best selves". I will do this by having “unconditional positive regard” for my clients, establishing authentic rapport, fostering open and genuine dialog that is focused on assisting clients as we seek to achieve the goals agreed upon in therapy. My goal is to utilize a client-centered approach, by having unconditional positive regard for each client and walking with them through the counseling process as we seek answers together. It is also important that we are realistic when setting expectations, facing challenges, and establishing time-tables, as we face the realities of life together as a team.
