If you suspect your child may have a learning disability such as Dyslexia or Dyscalculia, ADHD, difficulty with Executive Functioning, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, or other challenges keeping them from learning in school and reaching their potential, a psychoeducational evaluation can provide you with a great deal of information to help guide what types of supports and/or services they may benefit from. Evaluations can include assessing a person's cognitive abilities, processing skills, academic achievement, social/emotional functioning, and adaptive behavior. Counseling services can help build capacity based on those needs. I conduct psychoeducational evaluations for children and adults, as well as provide consultation and counseling services. Being knowledgeable in special education and Section 504 law, I can assist families in navigating the complex and daunting processes in the public educational system and provide guidance in order to ensure your child's needs are met.
