About
Clients often describe my therapeutic style as warm, intuitive, and supportive. I am a licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience in the mental health field, providing evidence-based treatment to adult populations. As an African American woman, I bring a culturally responsive and inclusive perspective to my clinical work. Holding a Masters in Social Work and a certification in Interpersonal Violence and Trauma (CIVT), my practice is trauma-informed and integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-dynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I use psycho-education and strengths-based strategies to support you in managing anxiety, depression, relational challenges, and trauma-related disorders. Providing therapy to a diverse range of adults, with particular focus on those navigating complex trauma, survivors of interpersonal violence, and those experiencing cultural & racial identity stressors.
