I'm a licensed mental health provider that has been practicing for over 24 years. I completed my graduate training in 2000 at Florida International University and began practicing as a clinical psychotherapist. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in my field, which is a distinction that goes beyond state licensure. I am an approved/certified and registered provider of evidence-based psychotherapy practice by the National Center for PTSD for the treatment of all traumatic disorders. These modalities include; assessment and provision of Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. My experience includes private practice, pediatric and adult hospitals, not for profit agencies, and substance abuse treatment centers. My strengths are in the provision of mental health treatment to individuals of all ages that include children, adolescents, and adults.
