Greetings! My name is Jatera and I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist specializing in Trauma Focused Care for Adults. I graduated in 2011 from Eastern Michigan University with my MSW degree in Family & Children Services. I also have been trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist by the National Institute for Trauma and Loss. I have 15 plus years of clinical and case management experience across a variety of settings and age groups. I use a blend of evidence-based programs and practices including EMDR, CBT, Exposure, Cognitive Processing, DBT, ACT, Imagery Rehearsal, MI, Solution-Focused View 8 Photos and Sensory-based therapies to support clients in strengthening their personal well-being. I am particularly concerned with the impact of Trauma recovery. Individuals who have gone through Trauma experiences often struggle with associated symptoms & behaviors.
