I began my career working as a school based clinician working with children and adolescents. After gaining an understanding of each client's needs, I guide and support them in implementing the changes necessary to improve peer and family relationships, emotional health, and overall quality of life at home and at school. By selecting and tailoring the appropriate therapeutic approach, the client is encouraged to work towards achieving their personal goals for healing, growth and wellness. These approaches may involve therapeutic play (for younger children and adolescents) as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
