Hi there! Originally from Kentucky, I'm currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Indiana. My journey started with a Master's in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University, though initially I pursued a career in teaching, which briefly postponed my entry into therapy. During my time in education, I witnessed firsthand the diverse needs of students and parents. I bring with me extensive experience working with teens, adolescents, and young adults across various environments. I firmly believe that anyone who is motivated to change can achieve their goals with dedication and effort. In our initial session, our focus will be on building rapport and getting acquainted with each other. I consider a strong therapeutic relationship essential for the success of therapy. If we both agree by the end of our session that we are a good match, we will proceed to schedule our next session together.
